Describing himself as a “pixel poet”, Lennox intricately weaves together visual and literary elements to create powerful photographic narratives that challenge perceptions and provoke thought.

Makurumidze’s portfolio encompasses a diverse range of genres, from photojournalism capturing untold African stories to conceptual photography aimed at reshaping perceptions of the continent. Through his lens, he tries to present African realities authentically, free from stereotypes and misinterpretations, inviting audiences to embrace the multifaceted narratives of the Zimbabwean experience.

In Zimbabwe, Lennox’s work has been exhibited at DPA @ The Dome and at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. He also took part in the Investec Cape Town Art Fair in 2024, and has been featured in publications such as Design//Life magazine and GQ South Africa.
