“Contrast” was our first exhibition at DPA @ The Dome, a brand-new art space just outside Harare, where we brought together painters, printmakers, photographers and sculptors from all around Zimbabwe to exhibit their work in a unique savannah setting. Some artists were already established, while for others this was their first exhibition. The work on show challenged the perception of contemporary Zimbabwean art, breathing new life into the country’s art scene and exposing its creative talent to a completely different audience.
