In his first solo exhibition for DPA.ART, Zimbabwean artist Mukudzei Muzondo examined the migration experience and how it affects the individual and their families, as well as society as a whole. “This body of work is a comprehensive observation of the present-day human condition on migration and belonging,” said Mukudzei. “I seek to examine the human migratory experience and the societal transformations related to migration and its manifestations. Is this movement a pursuit for freedom, or a rebellion to systems that seek to domesticate the mind?”
